I started to ride a motorcycle from 0. We started exactly at this base 3 years ago, and I can’t believe that this year I even participated in the hardest and most difficult race in the world, the Dakar Rally. We will continue our journey till the next Dakar in 2025 for sure

I’m a dirt bike rider, but I tried a buggy training course with Emilija, and it was truly amazing. It offered a new perspective on racing skills, patience, safety, and a fully prepared buggy. Everything was perfect.

I had a bad experience at another base where accidents happened, we rolled over, and safety was lacking, there was no instruction, no safe cars at all as I see now. However, here everything is on a professional level, starting with the experienced racers, full safety measures including belts, seats, and clean helmets. I’m grateful that I had the courage to try the buggy experience with the Dakar Dubai team and, of course, with Emilija. I believe I have improved my driving skills, even for my daily commute.

I arrived at this base and found everything I needed, from a rally bike to roadbook training, mechanics. We explored different locations and dunes, and they even provided a full care for my first and most challenging desert rally, the Abu Dhabi Desert Challenge. The concept of flying and racing really appealed to me.

We came as a family, and everyone, including our youngest daughter, tried driving. Emilija showed us how to drive and conquer the highest dunes without any fear. It was an unforgettable experience for our children.

I have had this incredible opportunity to train with Arunas recently and I only have fantastic things to say about him and his teaching style. It was my first time training for the desert and Arunas really helped me in achieving a huge milestone in spending a week navigating the dunes. Arunas noticed every little detail, made adjustments and taught me new skills to better my technique. Given his accomplished career, he is very instinctive and intelligent with his training style. Arunas also spent time with my 2 children (5y and 7y), who are just starting out to ride and helped them with their basics. He was very patient and kind and it was a wonderful first experience for them. Arunas is definitely a role model. He is very patient, he’s a dream to work with, he helped me set realistic goals and helped my push myself out of my comfort zone. Arunas is a phenomenal coach and anyone would be fortunate to train with him.

it’s very hard to find new and really interesting experiences for our business people. It was such a motivational and interesting meeting for everybody, even for such top-rated business people. The owners of Dakar Dubai base, Emilija and Arunas are family, and we, as Lithuanians, are family too. They talked to us about racing, the Dakar rally, and showed us how the business world is similar to the racing world. They also shared insights on how we can recover and inspire ourselves in the desert. It was definitely a different and unforgettable event; we can call it team building.

Me, dunies & buggy It’s an incredible experience or actually the best one while visiting Dubai! And it’s not just about driving the buggy it’s more about embracing the moment in motion that brings you back to yourself. As it appears in the desert you can have a direction throughout this magic endless scenery thought you have to watch and take decisions before and after each peak of the dune, stay steady and aware, yet enjoying the driving pleasure itself! Grateful for this experience for Emilija and Arunas at AG Dakar School as they are amazing guides that make this challenging dune ride fun, exiting and safe. Experience worth to be in a bucket list and I’m already looking forward to come back 😉
